World Forum in The Hague, June 24, 2025
Under the mandate of the Ministry of Economy, Digitalization, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, the national company Romarm, the leader of the Romanian defence industry, participated today at NATO Defence Industry Forum, an official high-level event held in parallel with the NATO Summit in The Hague.
Strategic Dialogue
The Forum gathered over 1,000 participants, including defense ministers, military leaders, experts, and representatives of defense companies from NATO member states.
Romarm engaged in bilateral discussions with NATO partners, focused on:
- deeper integration into NATO supply chains;
- development of dual-use technologies;
- reinforcing the role of the Romanian defense industry in Europe's security ecosystem.

Alignment with NATO objectives
The forum's objectives include:
- increasing Europe's industrial defense capability;
- accelerating joint investment in the defense sector;
- strengthening public-private cooperation to achieve NATO's strategic objectives.
Romarm endorses these priorities by:
- joint R&D projects;
- full alignment to NATO standards;
- promoting Romanian defense products on Western markets.
Highlights
The Forum was officially opened by prominent leaders, including Mark Rutte - NATO Secretary General, Ruben Brekelmans - Defense Minister of the Netherlands, Ursula von der Leyen - President of the European Commission, and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine.
Romarm's management underlined the strategic role of the defense industry in Eastern Europe and reaffirmed its commitment to build strategic partnerships for innovation and joint production.

- Sign MoUs with NATO industrial partners;
- Initiate joint research projects and expand production capacities;
- Expanding the export portfolio to NATO and EU member states.
