Moreni Automechanical Plant
Founded in 1968 under the name of IAM, Moreni Mechanical Plant is the only factory in Romania producing armoured transporters.
Over the years, Moreni plant has produced 4×4, 6×6 and 8×8 wheeled amphibious armoured transporters, including the SAUR 1 and SAUR 2 armoured amphibious transporters, as well as the Zimbru transporter.
Since 2001, the factory is a subsidiary of the National Company ROMARM.
