In the context of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Romania and Indonesia (1950-2025), the National Company ROMARM SA and the Romanian Business Association of the Military Technique Manufacturers, Patromil ensure and confirm a high level of representation of Romania at Indo Defense Expo & Forum 2025, held at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta from June 11 to 14.
The new management team of CN ROMARM, mandated by Bogdan-Gruia IVAN, Minister of Economy, Digitalization, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, has secured Romania's presence at a reference level in the ASEAN & South East China Sea macro-peaceful area by signing on the first day of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Indonesian state-owned military industry company PT PINDAD for the production and sale of ammunition, missiles, weapons, and military vehicles.

The event validates ROMARM's access to Asian markets, as well as the development and securing of strategic partnerships, technology transfer, and investment attraction.
Indo Defense Expo & Forum 2025 generated the interest of over 900 participants from 59 countries, with 32 national booths in attendance. The over 200 official delegations in attendance suggest the interest in the defense industry and reinforce the event's status as the largest in Southeast Asia.

The event was inaugurated by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, who emphasized the role of technology in national sovereignty, promoting the growth of the domestic defense industry.
