ROMARM concludes successful participation at IDEF 2025 in Istanbul

The National Company Romarm has successfully concluded its participation in the 17th edition of the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2025), which took place in Istanbul Expo Centre on July 22-27, 2025. ROMARM, together with its subsidiaries, represented the national defense industry at the national stand of ROMANIA. Over 400 international defense and military technology companies attended the event, showcasing their latest innovations over the six days.

Romanian defense technologies in the international spotlight

ROMARM management, represented by General Director Luis Vlădoiu and the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Constantin Alexie Cotan Bodolan, participated - together with ROMARM subsidiaries - at the prestigious international fair IDEF 2025.

The International Defense Industry Fair is one of the most important defense technology exhibitions in the Eurasian region, and an important platform for manufacturers, government officials, representatives of the armed forces, and experts from around the world to meet. This year's event features ministers, chiefs of staff, commanders, and top representatives from 103 countries, with stalls opening from 44 countries.

ROMARM subsidiaries showcased a wide range of advanced solutions

ROMARM subsidiaries exhibited a wide range of advanced solutions dedicated to the military niche, starting from HE steel mortar bombs for drones, thermobaric rounds, portable firefighting systems, and different types of ammunition, all designed and manufactured locally in Romania.

The ROMARM booth witnessed a high engagement from military leaders, senior officials, and official delegations from all over the world, who discovered the capabilities of the Romanian defense industry and praised the products of ROMARM subsidiaries for their reliability, precision, and competitiveness on regional and global levels.

Future partnerships and collaborations established at IDEF2025

At IDEF 2025, ROMARM engaged in multiple strategic partnerships. Notably, ROMARM signed a significant strategic partnership agreement with Roketsan - the prominent Turkish defense company, focusing on technology development and production collaboration. This fits within a broader context where Roketsan has been actively expanding its global and domestic partnerships at IDEF 2025, with various signing ceremonies for defense technology and production agreements.

Another significant partnership signed during IDEF 2025 was with MKE (Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation) another leading company in the Turkish defense industry. ROMARM and MKE company strengthened their potential cooperation at the international defense exhibition IDEF Istanbul 2025. During the meeting between ROMARM General Director - Luis Vlădoiu, ROMARM Board of Directors President - Constantin Alexie Cotan Bodolan, and MKE representatives, the prospects for the development of national defense capabilities and opportunities for cooperation between the Turkish company and ROMARM subsidiaries were discussed.

These partnerships reflect ROMARM's strategic orientation towards export expansion, capacity modernization, and multiple international collaborations.
